RLS to attend 2010 McDonald's Worldwide Convention

   Richard L. Sparkmon & Associates will be exhibiting at the 2010 McDonald's Worldwide Convention with our fellow members of the National Franchise ConsultantsNFCA Report Alliance (NFCA), an elite group of eight accounting firms across the country who specialize in providing accounting services to McDonald's franchise owners.
   One of the valuable benefits you receive from being the client of a NFCA firm is access to our Store Comparison Report, which gives you the ability to compare your own financial information to more than 2,500 other restaurants across the country.
   You can compare your financial information to others using the following criteria:

  • By specific month or trailing 12 months;
  • By sales volume;
  • By location type, e.g. free-standing, Oil Alliance, Highway, SPOD;
  • Building ownership, e.g., McDonald's, franchisee, unknown;
  • By region; or
  • By state.

   Below is an example of a Store Comparison Report run for January 2010 for "All" stores.  The report provides data by sales volume for the more than 2,500 stores in the database.

Who will be the Voice of McDonald's?

McDonald's employees have multiple talents and some of these talents will be showcased during the 2010 McDonald's Worldwide Convention. For the third year, 1.6 million employees in 118 countries were invited to try out to be the Voice of McDonald's. The finalists will compete for the top prize of $25,000.  McDonald's created this competition to show its commitment to its employees through the ultimate, international language of music, and offer them a world-class opportunity to achieve their dreams. It's one of the ways the company makes McDonald's a great place to work, delivering the core attributes of its Employee Value Proposition of "Family/Friends, Flexibility and Future." Through the Voice of McDonald's and other programs that celebrate the spirit and talents of our people, we also recognize their skills to deliver simple, easy and enjoyable experiences for our customers.
