Richard L. Sparkmon, CPA, CVA, organized the firm on July 1, 1984. Richard has been in public accounting since 1969, having started with Arthur Andersen & Co. in Atlanta. Since 1970, he has provided tax and accounting services to McDonald’s owner/operators. After leaving Arthur Andersen, Richard was the managing partner at an Atlanta accounting firm where he was in charge of services to McDonald’s operators. Richard presently serves as President and CEO of the firm. |
Beverly A. Sparkmon, CPA

Beverly A. Sparkmon, CPA, has provided services for McDonald’s owner/operators since 1983. She serves a wide range of McDonald’s clients focusing on year-end work and fixed asset management. Beverly is the firm’s Chief Operating Officer and is responsible for all day-to-day functions of RLS & Associates. |
| Emmitt W. White, CPA |

Emmitt White, CPA, began working with McDonald’s owner/operators more than 20 years ago. After receiving his Master of Accountancy (Taxation) degree from The University of Georgia, Emmitt began his career in public accounting with Richard working with McDonald’s owner/operators. After seven years in public accounting, Emmitt joined McDonald’s Corporation as Regional Controller for the Atlanta region. Two and a half years later, Emmitt was promoted to Zone Controller in Oak Brook– a position he held for two and a half years. Emmitt rejoined the firm in September 1992 as a Principal. He has since been promoted to Vice President in charge of Marketing and Firm Development and has become a shareholder and partner in RLS & Associates. |
| Amy L. Williams, CPA, CVA |

Amy L. Williams, CPA, CVA, graduated from the University of Georgia in 1992 with a BBA in Accounting and is a member of the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts. She immediately began work with our firm in its Accounting Services Division. In October 1994, she joined our Tax Division. Amy became a partner/shareholder in 2006. Amy has extensive knowledge of our entire client service process ranging from the accounting services aspect to tax compliance, research, and planning. |
